I can't believe how bad of shape its in since Coomer had it on here. Obviously the owner that had it recently didn't take care of it and just daily drove it, a broken timing belt would be an easy fix....

What I'd recommend is mocking up a flanged pipe that will take the place of the cat just in case you maybe want to put a cat back on, then there's no welding involved later on.
