i usually use a grinder with a thinner blade to cut the weld tacs then a knock with hammer usually does the trick

85 and 86 control the magnet here how i wired my relay not wot your doing but relay will be wired the same i would imagine

you could elongate the fixing holes on bracket to allow a minimum of side ways ajustment then no need for washers it doesnt look like you need much so should enogth to do it

just elongate the strut bar holes to allow it to sit lower the three that bolt to strut top
