Should work...I used to work at a tire shop and we would sometimes install some crazy sizes onto some rims. I don't think that .5" would make much of a difference if tirerack says the minimum is 8.0"...

I think it came out ok, it was very hard to wrap the sheet metal in the fabric. That's why it doesn't look as good at the bottom half. The pics make it look worse than it act...
