a cap doesnt solve anything, it just takes the charge instead of the battery, and the cap itself takes current.. caps are a "if you want one, but you dont have to have it" type of thing.

a/b amps draw alot of current. replacing your altenator and battery will not stop dimming completely... but it is a must have in the car audio world if you want the most out of your system.

get an Alarm first. while systems are nice, it isnt nice when the system is stolen.... you always want an alarm... convertibles are not too good for systems. i would look into filling up your cab... ...

thats what i plan on doing.... running some 6.5 drivers in the back... probably Adire Audio Kodas.... and 6 1/2" in the fron with a 4" or somethin... but yeah id put some midbass drivers in the back..
