I have the gate off, all panels motor is loose. how do I pop off the cap? do I need to cut the spring? I tried pulling it off but I couldn't get it to budge!

don't forget you need to get the adapters as well.
Personally not a fan of the 7th gen seat. If yours are good I would keep them, maybe reupholster.
