thanks for the info. yeah seems the 4th gen is a little better option for me as i'm looking for an alternate replacement option rather than a platform to mod. and they can be sources much more cheaply...

if you know the aprox area those things are going to be in just run the wire for those things in the loom and leave them without connectors so that when your get the one you want you can just crimp in...
