Don't matter if it's a look-alike or not. It has the same design which is a straight pipe so i doubt there is anything different between the 2 that is gonna make you loose 50hp.

The grip on those pedals are actually alot better than you would think. The holes in them are raised and create a gripping sensation on your shoes. I should know since i was the one that got the pedal...
