The to(FTO?) is fwd not awd btw.
Had a read up on the FTO to make sure my info is right

Not 100% true about ST202 & ST204's having the same cables
When the SS-II had the E56 it used the same as the ST205/GT4 as they both had the same transmission case.

remove intake pipe, see if the butterfly is fully closed, could be the throttle cable is under too much tension, or could be the TPS.
