^ I agree with everything you said minus the 3sge being good for a turbo. Compression ratio is too high.
The 3sge swap is a great upgrade for a dieing 5sfe. More power, for about the same price.

If the engines out of the car, make a piece of metal that bolts to the engine block and the clutch bolt on the flywheel. This prevents the engine from turning over and you dont need an impact.
