The steel wheels cost $40-50 ea brand new. I would go that route or hit up a junk yard in cali, subarus have the same 5x100 bolt pattern from mid 90's and up for the most part too.

I don't know if its too late to put my input in but i went through the same dilemma as you are but last year. I eventually went with the 225/45/17 tire size over 215/45/17 and the ride is alot better....
