How about this... removing the rear seats all together, and making a shelf level to the rear trunk in the hatch, then carpeting the whole thing... has anybody done that... that would be awesome...

That could be a few things... check your calipers or drums if you have them... the bleeders may be either rotted off and are leaking, or they could be lose and letting air into the brake lines... try ...
