Does anyone know if the starter Kw is critical to it working in a car? Like if I have a 1.6Kw Starter is it going to make a difference if I buy a 1.4Kw starter?

The only thing I can think of that would be different assuming they have the same engine is the down pipe, and maybe fitment in the engine bay, if it where feasible I think it would already be common ...

Does it matter if you have a manual or auto, as far as buying a starter? I have a 5spd so do I need a starter from a 5spd car, or can it be from an auto?
