Think I have worked something out at least....the harness I had made was done from the pre-96/6 3sfe ecu, that is different to 96/6 onwards, so reckon there are some wiring changes to take account of....

No fuses were blown, I was just being special over earthing out....
However.....Agh, can't get the damn thing to start still! Removed ignition harness to try to see if that was affecting it and no joy...
