My first car was a 1983 Mercedes 300CD Turbodiesel
That car was awesome. It was slow but it was just cool in its own way. The diesel engine also made a distinctive 5-cyl offbeat sound.

I'm getting less than 18mpg
all city driving and I've tried driving slowly. I put Sunoco's Plus (94) in it and the consumption was so high I barely got 110mi. / tank!

I'll get the Haynes Manual for the Celica. So it's just a drain plug at the bottom of the transmission?
