truth is u gain nothin from a catalytic converter but unless u get a really good one (which i havent found) it'll restrict the air flow which makes u lose power, if u take it out, ur def not gonna pas...

the flow of air is less restricted with a performance catalytic, if u have no problems with passin the smog test u shouldn't even have one just take it off, u'll have easier air flow
