so what happened when you changed the sensor ?
and in answer to your question yes the computer doesn't know what to do so your A/R is off and comp keeps trying to compensate

okay question ???? does the O2 sensor you have , does it it have thread after the flange at the tip ??as if you could thread it now with the flange on??? if so then unscrew the flange....
