If the coolant sensor is so far out of spec it's telling the ECU the engine is way cold when it's not it'll flood it out. Another thing since it's not been mentioned, but if the plugs haven't been ch...

How long did it sit? If it's been awhile the fuel could've gone bad, injectors could be gummed up, etc... If you're getting spark and have compression then that leaves fuel and air. Being ether sor...

Swap in an OBD-II 5S-FE to have it inspected, then swap back to the 3S-GTE afterwards. What most people do since the 3S-GTE ECU is JOBD and a standalone won't be OBD-II compliant either. That or if ...

Sounds like bad cables and/or grounds. That or the starter could be weak, but you'd hear that.

I know the KYB Gas-A-Just shocks are a lot better than the Monroe Sensa-Trac I took off the Firebird.

I knew I was leaving someone out, Tokico. I think that covers all the good strut and shock companies. KYB will be the least expensive though, and they like to run rebate sales every now and then.

KYB, KONI, Sachs, and Bilstein. If you're just wanting an o.e. replacement then go KYB, as KYB made a lot of the factory struts and shocks for Toyota back then and probably still does.

I've decided it's futile to try and make a car 100% perfect, unless you get it to that point then hermetically seal it.
If it works and doesn't look sketchy that's all you can really ask for.

Ugh wiring is the worst, especially when previous owners screw it up. Don't blame you.
