Sounds like a plan! I think I'm going to just go ahead and replace the valve cover gasket tomorrow I'll clean up the engine and see what happens after that

Problem completely fixed. Blew a couple fuses, the 100 amp alt fuse being the most important one. I feel like a BAMF. I'm close to one of the dumbest people when it comes to cars, but I'm coming along...
