ok so ya, well because the engine sits at a slant the oil from the valve cover is going to leak to the back side, so i would remove the valve cover (requires a 30mm socket) and check the gasket/replac...

Your pan could be leaking, but its not the only spot because you have oil running down the engine you have to find the highest dry point.

It sounds like your charcoal canister, but could also just been bad gas from the bottom of the tank

many companies make full gasket kits for it i would buy one of them and replace all gaskets and o-rings
why r u replacing the head
