The new clutch kit was almost $300. Wouldn't that have included everything? The mechanic I see is not a 1/2 ass kind of mechanic. He said the pressure plate was glazed over...don't know what that mean...

Cams and tune. Biggest bang for the buck unless you swap out or go turbo.
