Sounds like the infamous rubber bushes on the gear linkage to me - cheap and easy fix - you can get metal ones on ebay that make the shift slightly clunkier but don't fall appart every 10-15 years

OK, you connect the each white wire on the sensor to one of the black wires on the car there are 2 whites on the sensor and 2 blacks on the car - it doesn't matter which connects to which as these are...

I never realised how low the octane ratings of your gas were in North America - in the UK they start at 95, then you have "super unleaded" at 97 and then there's Shell who do a 97 one and BP do 102 oc...

£1.20 a litre so basically $9 per us gallon
It is 99 octane though
Unfortunately we pay lots of tax on fuel in the UK
