be sure you checked every fuse, double check them even, and make sure to pull them out and inspect them very closely. it sounds like a circuit problem that is shared between the starting and ignition ...

sounds like the clutch is slipping, either its worn or has oil on it from a leaking seal. feel like the clutch pedal engages pretty high?

there are snap rings on both sides of the bearing
and you need to use a press to press some pieces off

did you repair the harness well? with solder etc. does it feel like a misfire? vibrates alot and takes a while to rev up? also check for vacum leaks, maybe pop your stock airbox back in to test.
