i believe... and someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that when the car is running and you are checking the timing with the timing gun, you should be around 10...

yeah bro it makes things soo much easier. and you get a better look at everything (aka fewer mistakes)

if ur gunna do a rebuild, it might be easier to pull the engine out and work on it seperate from the car no?

or you can simply go to a salvage yard and pull that plug with about 6 inches of wire and pocket it. then you just splice it right in.

its possible... and im sure probable.
but if oil is being burnt... its no longer available for lubricant use. so essentially you would be wearing out all of your internals prematurely.

i think i may have figured it out....
so if i had severed a ground wire , that would disengage the ignition.
now when i plug in the code reader, because of the nature of the reader, it grounds the ig...
