sounds like a bad clutch and throw out bearing,if you get a new clutch i highly recommed resurfacing your flywheel.(if you don't get a new flywheel)

i have the same problem at high speeds(55+),every says your cars supercharged?lol.after i replaced water pump and timing belt that when the whinning soundcame.

i drift my ae86 i won't drift any other car but thats my cup of tea.
IMO i think the best is a 240sx,very cheap to buy and common parts to find alot of power for the price.perfect for learning.Beware...
