i'd go with the brake swap. Unless your doing some heavy duty track days, you dont need slotted rotors at all. a good set of brake pads could do the trick. I'd pick some Hawk HP Plus pads over the bra...

the only difference you MIGHT feel would be ride qualiity, since the tread will be taller. But with 60-55, you probly wont feel a difference.
