im using a 3rd gen mr2 LSD tranny with LSD inners and st185 outters with a spacer in between. i have the spacers on both sides, driver and passenger. i was having length issues too, about 1/4" - 1/2"....

I'd suggest Gold Line springs they give a very nice ride even on a lowered car. My friends have some on 17" wheels whit OEM shocks and they give a real nice ride. The price of the Gold Lines r not bad...
