If you're dropp;ing in a new engine, you may as well build a hybrid 7A-GE!
7A-FE 1.8L bottom end + 4A-GE head = win-win, torque + rev-happy!

Nice front lip. but I really don't like the taillights or the rice-wannabe spoiler. Why would you ditch the original factory GT-Four spoiler for something so hideous...

I'd recommend the aluminium radiator that the original poster linked to. A fully aluminium radiator won't crack, ever.

I'd recommend an Ogura clutch from Japan. They are somewhat pricy but they come with a lightweight flywheel, a very good clutch which offers great street driveability, and also a heavy-duty clutch hou...

You should be able to see where the coolant leaks out if it is an external leak - it goes pink-white (if you're using the Toyota Forlife red coolant) or looks like a brown surface rust (if you're usin...

I'm trying the TRD Iridium plugs at the moment - aka Denso IK22. The problem I had with NGK plugs (at least in Australia) is that the NGK BKR7EIX only comes in 1.1mm gapping, and not 0.8mm.
