the speakers in the rear panels are 6.0" by standard, but all you do is take out the bracket thing which holds the stock speaker, undo the 3 bolts holding it in and lightly shave if you wanted too... ...

check your air intake, may have a loose connection/pipe or somethings fallen off.
you may also have an exhaust leak somewhere in your exhaust system.
