MY timing belt ripped a couple months back. Midas charged me 700. But the thing was they kept replacing other parts that wasn't neccesary like a new distributor and spark plugs and oil change and etc....

100,000km would be around 62k miles on it. 100km = 62.14 miles. I say it's worth it. I got ripped off mine ST. I bought it for $5000 @ 150,000 mileage. But the whole engine was rebuilt at 120,000.
