I think the MAIN problem with cams for the 5SFE is not that they cannot make power... of course they can... but you'll be handicapped by the lack of adjustable cam timing. That's not even mentioning ...

Get a 240sx... they're cheap and FAR FAR more reliable than an rx7. If you haven't found anything around 2k... you're either not looking hard enough... or just being cheap.

I don't believe OBX really ever made an UD pulley for the 7AFE... but ASP makes one. Do a search... you'll probably find them. Yes... you will need shorter drive belts.

No. Only legal mods (carb certified) and stock stuff can pass. You can't pass without a cat... the cat CLEANS the emissions... so removing it will obviously hurt emissions. It'll also fail visual.
