I finally got to the track to run the car.
I babied it off the line(i got the 5s tranny) and i am only running 13 psi with 18" tires but overall i had good times.
1/4 mile times were at 14.4 and 14.5 ...

You should be able to get away with running the 2nd gen ecu.... the wireing might be a little different but not a mojor problem that you could not use it at all. You can go with almost any manifold ...
