Sounds like a fuel system problem u might have a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump.
Edit:Before starting your car press on the gas pedal all the way down once and try to start it again.

A couple of days ago I got a ticket too from a stop to about a block the cop clocked me going 0-60 in 4.3 seconds 60mph in a 35 mph zone what he told me. Well their goes my rear strut bar money....
