No, your rotors just slide off. It might take a little muscle, depending on where you live and how much rust is on them. If they were hubbed, it would be easier to change the front bearings.

Take it to a tranny shop very soon. It could be as simple as the electronics scrweing up, but is sounds like you may have real problems.
