I'm going to say the 987 Cayman is up there, or at least the rear of it is, and somewhat affordable now:

The E-type coupe would look a lot better chopped, the roof is just too tall for the body. The Miata suffers from the same problem, would look a lot better if the side windows were like an inch or two...

Well, could try finding the retainer and bushing cup off a car in a junk yard. Until then you might try packing the bushing cup with some grease to see if that helps temporarily.

That's my biggest concern, I'd have to go a few days in advance just to recover from driving there. Especially if in a Miata or MR2, but those are the only two cars I even remotely want within my bud...
