Replace your O2, cap, rotor, wires, plugs, airfilter(or clean it if its K&N), and change the oil then go back you should have no problem passing.

Standalone will be worth every penny you put into it. If your good with electronics try Megasquirt. If you need to buy a setup look at Tec 3, Augtronic, SDS ect ect.

Stock 5s crank is forged. Pauter makes Ibeam rods and JE makes 8.5:1 pistons. I would also throw some ARP bolts in the block along with ARP headstuds.

I would prefer Pauter Ibeam rods with JE pistons. That combo is def good for 300WHP and probably alot more.
