Yea... your amps should be wired to the system remote wire on the head unit.
The wire should either be blue or blue with a white stripe.

It depends on what sound system came stock.
I have the 8 speaker premium sound, It comes with stock 8" speakers in the door.
You can put an 8" speaker in the door, just make sure you get one that does...

I would take out the battery, completely charge it up and then remove the new headlights and replace with the old. it sounds like either the wiring, or even some faulty wiring in the headlights itself...
