you would probably need to get a new mounting bracket thingy you can get them from sparco but thats for there seats but they might work for the 7th gen seats

I had a problem like that before.. I tried hooking up a sony 10disc changer to my clarion deck.. and I was told that I needed an adaptor which no one carries.. not even sony or clarion.. so I gave up

for a good 3sgte swap expect $4000-5000 by the time you are done.
as for the gen of the engine... try and get the 3rd gen of the 3sgte... If your really lucky try and get a R/C of the engine... really...
