I think I have the rear GT calipers the driver rear is in good used condition but the passenger rear caliper will need to be rebuild let me know if your interested.

According to toyota all 96-99 Celicas came with platinum plugs from factory. I never had any problems with copper,platinum, or iridium plugs in my car I've used all three I only use NGK or Denso plugs...

Depending on what the temps will be running thicker oil is a good idea also get your battery and alternator checked out too don't forget the tire pressure and spare.

benefit you gain from capping off the hoses is it just makes taking out the IAC valve easier thats about it I shave 1min off my time when removing the IACV/Throttle body for cleaning.

Just replace the valve seals and get a valve adjustment while your at it, its normal on high mileage engines but not something you should ignore.
