I have issues with my X1800XT being flased with a custom BIOS only with Vista, no matter if it is a install or PE. No other OS, XP, and a few distros of Linux have had issues.
Oh well.

oil pump could have a leak in it
If the oil pump was leaking it would have low oil pressure. The oil pump is in the crankcase.

A guy I used to work for, just a local wrenchmonkey.
The water pump on this car from what I remember (and that isn't much) is behind the engine driven by a flat belt.

Timing belt, tensioner, etc.. and valve cover gasket.
$196 Parts
$200 Labor
Just got the car back tonight.
Isn't the water pump on the outside of the engine, and easy to change?

Sea foam is great. I have used ATFin fuel and in the crankcase. It seems to work as well in cleaning, but can cause converters to plug.
