mr2 tranny is actually FWD. you see the engine is in the middle of the car, so even thow the car istelf is RWD, the engine/tranny is like FWD engine/tranny, only think is , it is positioned different....

okay, the awd to fwd can and has been done, but you lose half the HP... so its pointless... the best thing to do is go with the mr2 turbo motor/tranny... mounting the mr2 is defenatly allot easier th...

defenetly go with the mr2 clip.... mr2 tranny is the best one to use for these swaps... its supper strong and has LSD, it takes more work to mount, but its worth it...
and there is a 3rd gen mr2 3sgte...
