Do I need my stock o2 sensors to operate? Or can I just run with my wide band o2 sensor?

ok soo my friend stoped by and he helped me find the problem....he said that my idle is too low....so he did something called retard timing....and it made a big difference....my celi used to just die ...

it cranks...the fuel pump works...we checked the spark...one of my friends told me to try spray carburetor cleaner in the intake for about 4 secon...
