So you can go past 4K while in neutral but not while in gear? And while idling the engine doesn't shake or idle rough, just has a whine to it? If this is the case, definitely recheck your vacuum lines...

If its the OBX catback for the st205 or celica GT4, however they list it, it wont work cause it is bent for the location of the GT4s gas tank and rear differential. Basically it would run right to you...

Sounds like your clock ring is going bad for the airbag light to only come on like that, at least thats my first thought on it.
