if you plastics are just scratched, personally I'd rather paint them
also if you are using the jdm projector glass, i don't think the morimoto mini's line up right with it

I used a heat gun for my retrofit! Keep the heat pointed at the glass not the plastic and SLOWLY used a flathead to pry it open.
