Well if your car dies when you press on gas its either a clogged fuel filter or a bad fuel pump and I don't recommend using a chevy filter too stick with oem for the filter and the pump. Don't bother ...

Just some tips don't over tighten the belts or it could cause damage and don't under tighten the belts as it could cause squeeks and make sure to line up the belts correctly.
Oh and invest in a haynes...

Same thing happened to my bros car was a bad battery he had a yellow top battery too optimum or something went bad on him lol
