a celica GT tranny (s54) bolts up. also v6 camry tranny (e153)
Those are your choices, the e153 has slightly longer gears and has a better reputation for holding power.

I know the 3sgte fuel pump works partly the way Rj said. but most people myself included ditch the pump resistor box that would regulate the voltage.
so hes not entirely wrong.
