Yeah sounds like a fuse check all your fuses before you start taking stuff apart lol forgot what fuse it is I think its the clock/radio fuse but just check all your fuses in case some other ones blew ...

When was the last time the tranny fluid was changed ?? That could be the problem or the shift linkages or maybe the tranny is bad....and since you just bought the car did you give it a tune-up ??

I found out what the problem was the fuse on the cd player blew didn't know my cd player had one lol it was stuck to the wire thats why I didn't see it.
