Im gunna be doing the same for awhile until i can make some spliters or lip.
i think it will be fine, just get rea mud flaps if you dont have them, that will help a bit.

Try an older bmw 3 series.. the 89 style 325i would be awsome, better handleing then 240 and 168 hp rwd. and very nice trannys. Butt more expensive to mod and mantain.. but imo better looking and more...
