I understand where the breather and the o2 sensor goes. but what is this thing i pulled out real close to where the stock intake meets the intake manifold setup. Right now its hanging on the firewall....

check your wiring
it could be from the heat as well. amps tend to cut out like that when they are really hot from high temps.
