yep that is true cuz the 96 model celicas ans newer are equipped with obdII which doesn't allow you to change it. but you can get controllers like the btm by msd or even a piggy back system.

when there is an oil filter in your way with doing a turbo setup which i am doing... 3" just gets in the way. and i think 2.5" sounds better than the 3" on the celi imo

why don't you just drill it out and either put a bulkhead fitting in there it requires no welding at all or either you can weld a bung on the oil pan. you don't need an aftermarket one. and btw there ...
