Have the axles rebuilt... Mine are being rebuilt as we speak after they are done my engine gets plopped in.
It's costing me $120 for both axles to be rebuilt and installed.

sapperk, what i would do is get a thin piece of wood, like 1/8" the flexible one, cut it out to shape, than attach fleese to it, saturate it with resin... let it dry, sand it, paint it, and plop it in...

Are u building it completely out of fiberglass? Besides the 1/4" rule of thumb remember fiberglass is strongest on curves, and any area where it is not flat... so besure to mat the flat areas more tha...
